Utility / Dishwasher

Overview

La Vida Llena, Albuquerque’s premier upscale senior living community, is seeking a Utility/Dishwasher to join our team. We are not a nursing home or typical retirement community. At our luxury, resort-like community, we are driven to provide our residents with the best service Rio Rancho has to offer, so our residents don’t need to leave home for an incredible culinary experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain dining areas and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.
• Ensure all dishes, utensils, and glassware are washed and sanitized according to food safety standards.
• Assist in setting up and cleaning up dining areas before and after meals.
• Help prepare and serve meals as directed by the chef.
• Handle and store food items safely and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff and management.

Requirements

• A valid Food Handlers card is required.
• A ServSafe Food Safety Manager certificate is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.

Pay

$14.60 - $17.97 / hr DOE

Schedule

Hours vary based on department needs, typically 40 hours per week.
