Utility Days

Responsibilities

• Load and Operate roll stand and auto splicer efficiently.
• Log all rolls as required by Standard Operating Procedures.
• Return left over stock to inventory according to S.O.P.
• Maintain consistent viscosity and PH level of ink fountains when necessary.
• Maintain all glue levels as needed as well as monitoring thickness of glue.
• Maintain continuous operations of label applicators.
• Aid in M/R operations, setting up printer and gluers etc., as instructed by operator.
• Aid in Wash ups as instructed by operator.
• Aid in keeping line clean in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and as instructed by Line Operator.
• Accurately track press counts.
• Follow line production to get necessary supplies for next job ready before press shuts down.
• Inclusive of paper, ink, plates, glue, job instructions.
• Actively engage in Pregis apprenticeship program to ensure continuous improvement of self and company.

Requirements

• Frequent standing, stooping, sitting.
• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling (up to 50 lbs.).
• Exposure to moving equipment.
• Inside work.
• Heat may exceed 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Humidity may exceed 80%.
• Noise may exceed 85dB+
• Personal Protective Equipment required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Five years of progressively responsible related experience.

Pay

Pay range: $20.00-$24.001st, 2nd and/or 3rd Shift.Overtime expected per business demand.

Schedule

Full time, Shifts: Days 6am-6pm.
