Utility - Corrugator
About the Role
This Utility/Corrugator position is a vital part of our Corrugator Department in Winston Salem, NC. You will support the corrugator team flow by assisting operators, preparing machinery for production, stacking/unstacking materials, running a clamp truck, and more to ensure peak efficiency. This is a fast-paced role ideal for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude who thrive in hands-on, team-oriented environments.
Responsibilities
- Assist operators in setting up and adjusting machinery for specific production runs.
- Monitor equipment during operation to identify malfunctions or quality deviations early.
- Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and minor maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Load raw materials and safely remove finished products to maintain continuous workflow.
- Maintain a clean workspace and promptly report hazards or mechanical issues to supervisors.
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude: ability to understand technical instructions and handle basic tools.
- Physical stamina: comfortable standing for long periods and performing physical tasks, including lifting and moving materials.
- Shift flexibility: willingness to work 3rd shift, including overtime when required.
Preferred: Prior experience in manufacturing or production support, specifically within durable goods.
