Utility Clerk
Job Description
Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture.
Receive and distribute supplies from the loading dock to basement storage.
Ensure proper placement and accurate inventory records, including chemicals.
Maintain and clean all tools, equipment, and machinery (excluding electrical), such as vacuums, extractors, and GRA/Runner carts; ensure safe storage after use.
Perform deep cleaning and floor care duties in guest rooms, corridors, spare linen rooms, and basement areas while assisting with special cleaning projects as needed.
Track and report daily linen counts and complete weekly/monthly inventory of supplies, submitting reports to management.
Label all chemicals accurately and maintain updated SDS documentation.
Install hair dryers, clean irons and rubber bathmats, and remove hard water deposits from fixtures as needed.
Safely dispose of soiled or biohazard mattresses and box springs; wrap and discard old mattresses according to procedures.
Move and position heavy furniture and items such as desks, cabinets, and mattresses when required.
Operate extraction equipment and perform bio clean-ups related to water flow or contamination.
Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position.
Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of housekeeping or facilities support experience preferred
- Previous experience in carpet care or floor cleaning strongly preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team

Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- Verify right to work in the United States
Physical Requirements
- Regularly push/pull up to 50lbs
- Regularly lift and/or carry up to 25lbs at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels
- Regularly squat, kneel, reach, bend, twist
- Occasionally sit and work at a desk or computer
- Frequently standing and walking
- Ability to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephone
- Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in person
- Ability to distinguish between shades of color
- Ability to use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity
