Overview

University Retirement Community, Davis’ premier upscale senior living community, is seeking a Dishwasher to join our team. We are not a nursing home or typical retirement community. At our luxury, resort-like community, we are driven to provide our residents with the best service the Davis Area has to offer, so our residents don’t need to leave home for an incredible culinary experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a clean and organized dishwashing station
• Wash, dry, and sanitize dishes, glassware, and utensils using appropriate methods and equipment
• Ensure all food waste is disposed of properly
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements

• A valid Food Handlers card is required
• A ServSafe Food Safety Manager certificate is a plus

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar position preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Skills

• Basic knowledge of food safety practices
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision

$17.50 - $19.00 / hr DOE
