About the Role

SSP America operates several restaurants throughout the San Diego Airport, including local favorites like Panda Express, Qdoba, Jack in the Box, Peets Coffee, and many more. As a Utility at SSP America, you'll play a key role in creating a positive guest experience by maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in our work areas.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of all surfaces and equipment, including floors, ceiling tiles, walls, windows, worktables, hoods, vents, grills, refrigerators, service counters, and storage areas.
• Remove refuse to designated areas.
• Clear and reset tables in dining areas between seatings, as needed, and transport service-ware to the kitchen for cleaning.
• Scrape food from dirty dishes, pots, and pans, wash them by hand or load the dishwasher, and return them to their proper storage place.
• Clean equipment using specific chemicals to meet sanitary standards; may include the use of heavy equipment.
• Assist guests with specific requests and communicate special needs to server/supervisor.
• Load/unload supply trucks, transferring items between storage and work areas.
• Stock, date, rotate, and check the temperature of food items.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay

$20.85 / Hour Plus Tips
