Responsibilities

• Washes and sanitizes all dishes, pots and pans, food carts, and food preparation equipment.
• Empties kitchen garbage and trash, and sanitizes containers as needed.
• Sweeps, mops, and foams kitchen floors.
• Maintains cleanliness of all walls in kitchen and serving areas.
• Maintains cleanliness of all floor mats.
• Transports food carts to satellite dining rooms throughout the facility.
• Maintains the cleanliness of all food carts.
• Maintains a clean and organized dish room.
• Performs regular cleaning of heavy kitchen equipment including ovens and ranges.
• Affords assistance in moving heavy equipment and furniture when needed.
• Affords assistance in setting up buffets and special function events.
• Affords assistance in running back food trays and dishes for buffets and special event functions.
• Affords assistance in the kitchen when necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment preferred.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
