Job Duties

• Deliver materials at production workstations for current job according to Bill of Material (BOM).
• Ensure materials are available and ready when new production job is ready for start-up.
• Return unused materials to designated staging area after production run.
• Avoid material mix-ups by ensuring materials match the Bill of Material (BOM).
• Maintain proper regrind percentages.
• Wrap all skids of production after they have been audited. Make sure they are skidded and labeled properly.
• Re-palletize, re-stack and condense cardboard or totes.
• Determine the recyclability of the cardboard and then properly dispose.
• Stack and tear down all empty gaylords and skids.
• Empty all trash cans at end of shift.
• Keep presses clean of split material and dye.
• Grind scrap that is produced during the shift.
• Safely operate forklift and floor jack to move raw material and finished goods.
• Safely operate band saw and grinders to recycle scrap materials.
• Provide break coverage to Operators.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous experience working in manufacturing.
• Injection Molding experience preferred.
• Previous experience operating forklift.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand / walk for extended periods of time, climb ladders, and work in manufacturing environment.
