Utility Associate
About the role
The Utility Employee is a multi-functional operations position responsible for supporting warehouse, route sales, and service operations based on daily business needs. This role is designed to provide operational flexibility and may perform duties associated with Warehouse Worker, Route Sales Representative, and Service Technician classifications.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a critical resource in maintaining service continuity, supporting customer satisfaction, ensuring operational efficiency, and assisting the organization in meeting its business objectives.
- Daily assignments may vary and are determined by management based on business requirements. Duties may change throughout a shift without advance notice.
- Work collaboratively with management, route personnel, service technicians, warehouse employees, and customers.
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to perform duties across multiple classifications.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, safety standards, and customer requirements.
- Attend training sessions, meetings, and certification programs as required.
- Complete additional duties and special assignments as directed by management.
- Adapt to changing operational priorities and work assignments throughout the day.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.
- Ability to qualify for company vehicle operation and DOT certification where required.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and experience with equipment repair and installation procedures, Plumbing and electrical work.
- Ability to perform warehouse inventory, receiving, stocking, and sanitation functions.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to respond effectively to changing business demands and shifting daily assignments.
- Basic computer and mobile device proficiency.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Pay
COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $30.45 to $30.45. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
