About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Utility Worker at Thrift World! As a utility worker, you will play a crucial role in assisting our team with a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our store.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving and sorting donated items
• Keep the production room clean and organized
• Assist production workers in daily tasks
• Assist with loading and unloading items as needed

Skills and Abilities

Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must. The ability to work well as part of a team is also important.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not necessary
• Previous experience using pallet jacks
• Ability to lift and move heavy items, up to 75 pounds
• Excellent communication skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Must pass a background check
