Duties
- Pull utility bills from the FileNet program maintained by the Business Service Center
- Ensure a utility bill is received for each facility for each billing period
- Audit all utility bills to ensure bill charges and usage are accurate
- Pursue reimbursement from utilities for incorrectly billed bills
- Identify issues in billing and unusual usage and notify the Energy Manager
- Identify trends and peak billing cycles for the Energy Manager
- Create graphs, charts, diagrams, and reports using trend data as required
- Regularly review meter data and compare bill charges
- Aid the Energy Manager in expanding the current metering program by providing spreadsheets regarding site requirements by energy type
- Use auditing tools in the Utility Manager Pro/Energy Center software to verify accuracy of data entered to the Utility Manager Database and analyze utility usage patterns to determine energy savings and discrepancies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business, Construction Management, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in analysis in related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication, planning, organization, and time management skills
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (with a strong emphasis on Excel), database programs, and project management and accounting software (Oracle preferred)
