Utility Aide (Part Time | Any)

About the role

The Village at Orchard Ridge is part of the National Lutheran Communities & Services family. As a Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe and pleasant dining experience for residents and guests.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment according to established procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sweeping, mopping, and removing trash.
• Assist with organizing and storing clean dishes and supplies.
• Support kitchen staff by helping with basic food prep or other tasks as needed.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members to support smooth kitchen operations.
• Report any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous experience in a kitchen or dishwashing role is a plus but not required—we'll provide training!
• A strong work ethic and reliability are essential.
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment is important.
• An attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety are necessary.
• A willingness to assist with various kitchen tasks as needed is required.
