Utility Administrator
Johnson Brothers, a national family-owned wine, spirits and beer distributor, has been providing exceptional service to our customers since 1953, representing the world's most famous brands in the beverage industry. We are currently seeking a Driver Check-In/Warehouse Associate for our warehouse facility in Saint Paul, MN.
About the role
The Driver Check-In/Warehouse Associate is primarily responsible for work related to receipt, shipment, storage, inventory, and distribution of products. This is a labor-intensive role where team members will be moving stock repeatedly throughout the shift, both manually and with equipment.
Responsibilities
- Check-in drivers who have completed their daily delivery routes
- Separate and count all returned items to verify the product/quantity match what’s on the driver’s return and adjustment sheet
- Document all shortages, overages, and damaged items in accordance with Company procedures
- Assist in warehouse supply auditing and ordering
- Assist with product inventory control activities
- Review and audit invoice transition
- Maintain assigned metric tracking forms
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
- Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse
- Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety
- Comply with OSHA and SDS standards
- Safely operate equipment associated with warehouse activities
- May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a general warehouse environment preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety policies and procedures
- Good verbal/written communication skills, basic math, and reading comprehension
- Good attendance and attention to detail is required
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Must be able to work in hot and cold conditions
- Ability to lift at least 40-60 lbs repeatedly
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background check
Pay
The expected pay range for this role is $20.00 - $23.00 per hour. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range. Actual placement within the range will be contingent upon several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, education, experience, internal equity, union status (where applicable), and alignment with market data.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM or until completion, as business needs dictate.
