Utility (2nd Shift)

About the role

Successful candidates for this Utility position in the Gluing Department enjoy variety and learning multiple processes. They must be experienced forklift operators capable of operating the forklift efficiently and safely in a production setting. The role includes cross‑training to perform several processes such as spreader, press, glue mixing and forklift operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift efficiently and safely in a production environment.
• Perform spreader, press, glue mixing and forklift tasks as cross‑trained.
• Follow written and verbal job instructions.
• Provide feedback and apply critical thinking.
• Use personal safety equipment while working around moving machinery, fast‑paced forklift traffic, and machine noise.
• Adapt to a work environment that varies with the time of year.
• Function as a team player in a family‑like setting.
