Responsibilities
- Support utility clients in the design, implementation, and optimization of real-time operational systems including SCADA, EMS, ADMS, DERMS, and related technologies.
- Support delivery of real-time systems and grid modernization projects for electric, gas, and water utility clients.
- Lead workstreams or project activities depending on level and experience.
- Perform current-state assessments, process analysis, and operational improvement evaluations.
- Support requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and change management activities.
- Analyze business and operational requirements and help translate them into functional and technical solutions.
- Aid clients in modernizing grid operations through process improvement, technology transformation, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Develop client deliverables, including assessments, roadmaps, process documentation, business cases, and executive presentations.
- Identify operational risks, issues, and dependencies and support mitigation planning throughout project delivery.
- Collaborate with utility clients, system integrators, and technology vendors to support successful project execution.
- Leverage data, analytics, and emerging technologies to improve operational decision-making and business outcomes.
- Contribute to internal capability development, knowledge sharing, and practice growth initiatives.
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and project teams while delivering high-quality work products.
- Support business development activities, proposal efforts, and thought leadership initiatives as opportunities arise.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in utility operations and real-time systems, with deep expertise across Transmission & Distribution (T&D) control room environments, including grid operations, reliability, and system optimization.
- Experience supporting utility operations, operational technology, grid modernization, or business transformation initiatives within electric, gas, or water utilities.
- Experience working with or supporting real-time operational systems such as SCADA, EMS, ADMS, DERMS, OMS, GIS, or related utility technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to technology implementation, operational improvement, or transformation programs in utility or infrastructure-intensive environments.
- Experience collaborating with business, operations, and technology stakeholders to gather requirements, solve problems, and deliver business outcomes.
- Understanding of utility operational processes and how operational technologies support reliability, resilience, safety, and grid performance.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business and operational challenges into actionable recommendations.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support client engagements and project delivery.

Pay
Annual Salary Range: $59,100 to $205,800
