Responsibilities
- Consistently demonstrates proficiency in multiple work areas while maintaining a high level of safety, quality, and productivity.
- Works with the department management team and serves as a critical link between the logistics team and the shipping execution team.
- Collaborates with Planning, Production, and Customer Service departments to eliminate, prevent, and resolve daily shipping issues.
- Possesses a sense of urgency and demonstrated initiative to improve the shipping department’s performance daily.
- Ensures deployment and sustainment of Logistics Dashboards and tracking systems.
- Assists with daily shipment planning and cross-trains other team members.
- Holds weekly meetings to review previous week's metric results and receive continuous improvement suggestions.
- Solves problems through analytical analysis of shipping department operations.
- Initiates and implements Standard Work, job specifications, and department work processes to maintain the Carrier Way.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience or demonstrated proficiency in data entry using a database or computer software
- 2+ years of experience using word processing and spreadsheet software, such as Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to obtain or currently hold a Forklift Certification
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
Qualifications
- Microsoft Excel Certification or Advanced Excel Skills
- Experience with SAP ERP Program Logistics and/or Shipping
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay Range
The hourly rate for this position is between $15 - $30 per hour. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
