UT Health Athens Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (or Physician Assistant)
About the Position
Full-time Nurse Practitioner (or Physician Assistant) position with 2-5 years of cardiology experience required. Combination of inpatient and outpatient clinic responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Split schedule between UT Health Athens in the mornings and the Cardiology Clinic in the afternoons
- Inpatient responsibilities include performing consults, evaluating ED patients, and overseeing stress tests
- Outpatient responsibilities include evaluating new and established patients with cardiac conditions and performing comprehensive history and physical examinations
- Additional shifts are available and compensated
- Collaborate with two cardiologists
Schedule
- Monday–Thursday, 8:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
- Friday, 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
- Patient load: 15–20 patients per day
