About the role
Epic is seeking a UX Designer to lead the experience and visual design for several development teams. This role requires relocation to Madison, WI.
Responsibilities
- Meet with end-users to understand their unique needs and workflows
- Research user workflows and observe applications in use
- Work alongside developers to design intuitive, beautiful applications with sound information architecture
- Demonstrate ideas through sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes
Requirements
- Education or experience in user-centered design techniques
- Bachelor's degree or greater
- Strong portfolio demonstrating strong user experience and visual design skills
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
- Cover letter required
Qualifications
- Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of human-computer interaction (HCI) principles
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
