User Experience Designer

About the role

Epic is seeking a UX Designer to lead experience and visual design for several development teams. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between users and developers, ensuring applications are both functional and visually appealing.

Responsibilities

• Meet with end-users to understand their unique needs and workflows
• Research user workflows and observe applications in use
• Work alongside developers to design intuitive, beautiful applications with sound information architecture
• Demonstrate ideas through various levels of design fidelity: sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes

Requirements

• Experience in user-centered design techniques
• Bachelor's degree or greater in related field
• Strong portfolio demonstrating strong user experience and visual design skills
• Ability to relocate to Madison, WI

Qualifications

• Knowledge of human-computer interaction principles
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with user research methods
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
