About the role
Epic is seeking a UX Designer to lead the experience and visual design for several development teams. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between users and developers, ensuring that applications are not only functional but also delightful to use.
Responsibilities
- Meet with end-users to understand their unique needs and workflows
- Research user workflows to inform design decisions
- Observe applications being used in context to gather insights
- Work closely with developers to design intuitive, beautiful applications with sound information architecture
- Demonstrate ideas through various levels of design fidelity: sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes
Requirements
- Strong portfolio demonstrating strong user experience and visual design skills
- Education or experience in user-centered design techniques
- Bachelor's degree or greater
Qualifications
- Relocation to the Madison, WI, area is required (reimbursed)
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
