Used Car Purchasing Specialist
Responsibilities
- Receive in-bound calls and make out-bound calls to schedule appointments for sellers to meet with the Used Car Buying Center Manager or Used Car Purchasing Specialist
- Assist with purchasing pre-owned vehicles
- Communicate purchase price to customer and inform Buying Center Manager if customer accepts or wants to negotiate further
- Aid in obtaining purchase documents and ensure customer completes purchase documents
- Transport purchased vehicles to Servco Pre-owned lot
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Business or Auto Technology degree preferred
- Two years of customer service work experience
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to operate standard shift
- Auto sales or vehicle appraisal work experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer relations skills
- Knowledge of automotive makes and models
- Basic proficiency with Word and Excel
- Digital experience preferred
- Multi-tasker and able to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Detail oriented with strong math/financial skills
- Customer savvy, a team player, and adaptable to changes
Pay
Starting base pay is $17 per hour plus incentives. Total pay, including incentives, is dependent upon individual job performance.
