US Chemical Storage currently has an opening for a Mechanical Assembly Associate in Wilkesboro, NC.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

• Assemble appropriate materials.
• Read and interpret drawings and work orders.
• Clean parts and work area thoroughly.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Achieve excellent interpersonal skills and attendance.
• Use proper lifting techniques.
• Use all hand tools required to perform the job but not limited to: hammers, drills, saws, screw guns, metal shears, utility knives, framing square, edging tool, etc.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required

• Have a great attitude and willing to grow with the company.
• Diligently follow safe practices for yourself and team members.
• Work in a flexible team environment with job rotation as needed.
• Willingness to cross train for other job functions such as testing, quality review and packing/crating product.
• Ability to use ladders at least 10 feet off the ground.
• Ability to bend, twist, squat, stand and walk up to 8 hours per day.
• Ability to stand, kneel, bend, pull, push and lift up to 50 lbs up to 10 hrs per day and when overtime is scheduled.
• Wear all required PPE including: steel toed shoes and safety glasses.
• Good physical condition and endurance.

Working Conditions
