Position Summary

Ensure area of responsibility compliant with Logistics and company quality and safety standards policies, procedures, and directives by developing, distributing, and maintaining procedures and supporting documentation. Prepare, review, and analyze business reports to identify operational improvements.

What you'll do...

  • Complete and prioritize work assignments by using policies, data, and resources. Collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners. Identify deadlines and expectations. Carry out tasks. Communicate progress and related information. Determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities. Identify and ensure associate, customer, and supplier concerns are resolved. Adapt to change difficulties and feedback.
  • Assist in resolving day-to-day associate challenges by communicating with production managers, checking QA inventory, capacity, resolving problem freight issues, and providing subject matter experts, department contacts, or other managers as needed to help address concerns.
  • Manage associates in area of responsibility by directing, assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, providing feedback, teaching, supporting, and modeling plant policies and procedures. Identify training and development needs and make recommendations.
  • Supervise and develop opportunities for associates by hiring and training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace. Manage work plans, workloads, and associates to meet deadlines by talking with associates to solve problems, resolving delay issues to stay on schedule, and using systems to audit progress and identify concerns early within a shift.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and support company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy, and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.
  • Coaches Inventory Control, coordinates Continuous Improvement Process, manages supervision, adapts, is accountable, respects individuals, works collaboratively, builds strong and trusting relationships, communicates with impact, energy, and positivity to motivate and influence, attracts and retains the best talent, empowers and develops talent, recognizes others contributions and accomplishments, acts with integrity, acts in a selfless manner and is consistently humble, self-aware, honest, fair, and transparent, serves our customers and members, strives for excellence, displays curiosity and a desire to learn, takes calculated risks, demonstrates courage and resilience, encourages learning from mistakes, drives continuous improvements, adopts and encourages the use of new technologies and skills, supports others through change.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field OR 1 year's Walmart Logistics Management experience OR 2 years' experience in Dairy processing, manufacturing, or food processing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field, AND 1 year's supervisory experience, Supervisory experience in Dairy processing, manufacturing, or food processing.

Pay & Benefits

  • The annual salary range for this position is $65,500.00 - $98,000.00
  • Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
  • Additional compensation for certain positions may also include : Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location), Stock.
