Drive sales in the Vision Center through effective merchandise presentation, including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, and maintaining instock and inventory levels. Oversee budgeting, forecasting sales, and assessing economic trends and community needs.
Responsibilities
- Model, enforce, and provide guidance on proper customer service approaches to ensure customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved within company guidelines.
- Oversee and participate in community outreach programs, encouraging associates to serve as active community members.
- Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for the Vision Center by analyzing reports, monitoring asset protection and safety controls, and implementing action plans.
- Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, and promoting a belonging mindset.
- Ensure the provision of quality eyewear by consulting with and educating customers, selecting products based on needs, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, and maintaining optical equipment.
- Uphold the company’s Open Door Policy by addressing associate concerns, researching issues, and suggesting resolutions.
- Coordinate and oversee job-related activities by building relationships with stakeholders, supporting business initiatives, and measuring progress toward goals.

Requirements
- Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience OR 2 years’ general work experience including 1 year’s optical experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules.

Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $33.50 - $43.50. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and may include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) adjustments based on location.
