The Vision Center team is dedicated to delivering exceptional eyecare services by combining expertise in inventory management, sales, and customer service. This team ensures accurate merchandise presentation, competitive pricing, and optimal inventory levels to meet community needs.
What you'll do
- Drive Vision Center sales through effective merchandise presentation, pricing, and inventory management.
- Lead and develop Associates by hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties to build a high-performing team.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by resolving issues and educating Members on eyewear selection and care.
- Oversee compliance with company policies, safety standards, and asset protection measures.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and analyze economic trends to support business goals.
- Cook up community outreach initiatives and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Utilize data insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
What you'll bring
- Proven experience in inventory and sales management within a retail or optical environment.
- Strong knowledge of optometry practices, including eyewear consultation and prescription verification.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively and uphold company standards.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in hiring, training, mentoring, and developing team members.
- Ability to analyze sales data, forecast trends, and implement strategic initiatives to drive business results.

Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $34.50 - $46.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include : Regional Pay Zone (RPZ)
Minimum Qualifications
- Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience OR 2 years’ general work experience including 1 year’s optical experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules.
Preferred Qualifications
- Supervising Associates
