(USA) Technician, Facility Services, Power Washing

About the Role

As a Technician in Facility Services, Power Washing Exterior Services at Walmart, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our retail locations. This hands-on position involves operating and maintaining pressure washing equipment to clean various surfaces, including walls, sidewalks, roofs, parking lots, and more.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain corporate vehicles, pressure washers, pumps, hoses, nozzles, and other equipment
• Evaluate areas to be cleaned and determine suitable pressure levels and temperature settings
• Remove dirt, debris, trash, and other contaminants from surfaces while following safety procedures
• Respond to work order requests and maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation
• Conduct safety and preventative maintenance checks on equipment
• Perform other facility-related maintenance duties as assigned

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in the power washing/exterior maintenance industry
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Valid, state-issued driver’s license held for at least 3 years with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Ability to successfully complete a DOT physical and secure medical certification during pre-hire contingency, maintaining a minimum 90-day Medical Examiner's Certification (MEC) card
• No convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving involving alcohol or drugs within the last three (3) years
• No more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years if driving a commercial motor vehicle
• No serious traffic violations (as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) in the last three (3) years if operating a commercial motor vehicle
• No preventable accidents (as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) in the last three (3) years if operating a commercial motor vehicle
• Ability to read and speak in the English language as required by Section 391.11(b)(2) of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Ability to work alternative shifts, including overnight and weekends
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications in power washing or facility maintenance
• Experience using intermediate-level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Proficiency in speaking and understanding Spanish
• State/local licensing where required (e.g., Florida, Texas, California)
