Position Summary
TourToTeach, a leader in retail operations, seeks a dynamic individual to lead and develop teams within our stores. This role involves teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, providing feedback, and leading company change efforts.
What you'll do...
- Tour stores and provide feedback to associates regarding store operations, merchandising, and company direction.
- Communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding business initiatives, technology, and company direction.
- Introduce and lead company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions.
- Communicate business objectives to teams effectively, modeling and demonstrating exceptional customer service standards.
- Manage and support customer service initiatives such as Store of the Community and community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved.
- Develop and implement action plans to correct deficiencies and improve the customer experience.
- Drive the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating Profit & Loss (PL) statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
- Maintain and assist in the implementation of effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes to mitigate shrinkage and achieve sales and profit goals.
- Supervise and develop opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing associate recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, supporting the Walmart mission, values, and ethical standards, and acting with integrity.
- Build high-performing teams, embrace differences, and create a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected through a culture of belonging.
- Recruit and develop qualified associates to meet staffing needs and achieve company growth potential.
- Coordinate and oversee job-related activities and assignments, developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, and identifying and addressing improvement opportunities.
- Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, supporting the Walmart mission, values, and ethical standards, and acting with integrity.
Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) and Complex Structure differentials.

Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
- General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
