Position Summary
TourToTeach, a role within Walmart, involves leading and developing teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. This includes touring stores, providing feedback, and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, merchandising, and company direction.
What you'll do...
- Teaching and training associates, providing feedback, and actively listening to their concerns.
- Collaborating with all levels of associates to improve store operations, introduce and lead company changes, and provide clear expectations and guidance.
- Mentoring and supervising associates, setting clear expectations, and providing recognition.
- Managing and supporting customer service initiatives such as store of the community and community outreach programs.
- Ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved, and developing and implementing action plans to correct deficiencies.
- Providing process improvement leadership to ensure a high quality customer experience.
- Reviewing and evaluating PL Profit Loss statements, managing and assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
- Maintaining effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals.
- Hiring, training, and mentoring associates, assigning duties, and providing clear expectations.
- Supporting key stakeholders, coordinating job-related activities, and completing assignments to meet customer and business needs.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, supporting the Open Door Policy, and providing direction and guidance on executing business processes and practices.
- Respecting individuals, building high-performing teams, embracing differences, and creating a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected through a culture of belonging.

Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years’ of college;
- OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience;
- OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University;
- General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.

- The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00.
- Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
