Position Summary

The (USA) Staff, Technology Operations role is responsible for managing and overseeing program budgets, schedules, and risk assessments to ensure successful delivery of technology initiatives. This position requires collaboration across multiple teams to monitor progress, address challenges, and align projects with organizational goals.

About the role

The team supports Domain Management across Walmart, collaborating closely with the domain management lead to ensure seamless operations. It focuses on program and financial management, stakeholder communications, and process improvements to drive effective domain registration and administration. The group emphasizes clear coordination, risk assessment, and monitoring to meet business objectives. Members apply strong influencing and business operations skills to align domain strategies with organizational goals. This team plays a vital role in maintaining operational excellence and delivering value through structured program execution and proactive stakeholder engagement.

What you'll do

  • Manage and monitor program budgets, providing accurate estimations and financial inputs for business cases and operating plans.
  • Assess resource requirements and identify risks to ensure successful completion of projects with small to medium complexity.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination meetings to review progress, address issues, and maintain program health.
  • Communicate key business considerations and support decision-making processes aligned with organizational goals.
  • Influence stakeholders through clear, concise communication and build collaborative relationships to drive project outcomes.
  • Translate business requirements into strategic initiatives and oversee execution of deliverables across multiple teams.
  • Monitor program performance, implement improvements, and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.

What you'll bring

  • Proven experience in program and financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost monitoring.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder management and communication to influence and build consensus across teams.
  • Expertise in business operations with the ability to assess KPIs and support decision-making processes.
  • Proficiency in risk assessment, mitigation, and program monitoring tools to ensure project success.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into integrated program plans aligned with organizational goals.
  • Knowledge of technology landscape and its impact on business strategy and project execution.
  • Demonstrated leadership in coordinating cross-functional teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Nice to have

  • Web site development and secure hosting management
  • Domain and DNS record configuration, updates, and maintenance
  • Management of website infrastructure with a focus on security and availability
  • Implementation of secure hosting practices to ensure data protection and compliance
  • Administration and troubleshooting of DNS records (A, CNAME, MX, TXT, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 4 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
  • Option 2: 6 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 3 years' experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.

The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00 - $216,000.00 in Bellevue, Washington US-11663 and $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 in Bentonville, Arkansas US-10735. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include : Stock.
