What you'll do
- Performs basic to intermediate inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs, and replacements following company guidelines.
- Creates and processes work orders, assesses maintenance, repair, and replacement needs, identifies needed parts, and selects the best possible solutions.
- Conducts maintenance repairs and replacements, such as repairing and replacing brake system components like air, anti-skid, SCAM, ABS, disc brakes, and replacing leaky wheel seals.
- Dismounts/install tractor trailer tires and follows company and DOT guidelines and requirements.
- Communicates with individuals or groups, both verbally and in writing, and completes work order records, logs, and other written or computer-based documents according to established procedures.

- The hourly wage range for this position is $28.05 - $31.55.
- Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid state-issued driver's license.
- Brake inspection qualified as defined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations, Section 396.25.
- Vehicle Inspection qualified as defined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations, Section 396.19.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Office ASE Certification.
- DOT Transportation Certification.
