About the team
The Health & Wellness Investigations (HWI) team conducts thorough proactive and reactive investigations across Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club pharmacies and Vision Centers, including international locations. The team collaborates with internal and external partners to identify risks and vulnerabilities, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and company policies. Utilizing data analysis and investigative techniques, the team addresses complex issues such as fraud and misconduct. Members are supported through ongoing development and mentoring, fostering a professional environment focused on integrity, adaptability, and continuous improvement to protect the business and uphold Walmart’s commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee complex investigations across multiple business segments, utilizing specialized techniques to gather and analyze evidence.
- Develop and implement proactive investigative strategies to identify risks, vulnerabilities, and emerging trends.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners, including legal counsel and government agencies, to support investigative efforts and ensure compliance.
- Provide supervision, mentoring, and development opportunities to investigative teams, fostering a high-performing work environment.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for business units and regulatory proceedings.
- Drive execution of global governance initiatives by aligning business plans with operational needs and removing performance barriers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Political Science, or related field and 4 years investigative experience in casework/management, auditing, security, or related field OR 6 years investigative experience in casework/management, auditing, security, or related field.

- Fraud and corruption casework/management
- Global Markets CFE - Certified Fraud Examiner - Certification
- CPP - Certified Protection Professional - Certification

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and stock for certain positions.
