About the role
The Senior Director of Strategy provides leadership across strategy, execution alignment, and technology innovation to protect people, assets, and operations. This role is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and advancing technology platforms and emerging solutions while also serving as a key driver of operational business strategy, execution alignment, and leadership decision support for the End-to-End Asset Protection and Enterprise Safety organization.

It delivers operational support, coordination, and innovative solutions aligned with business goals. Leading strategic prioritization, change management, and talent development initiatives, the team enhances organizational performance. By fostering collaboration and applying business strategies, it ensures seamless execution of key projects and continuous improvement. This group supports leadership and stakeholders in achieving measurable results while upholding high standards of integrity and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the long-term strategy and innovation roadmap for End-to-End Asset Protection and Enterprise Safety, aligning capabilities with enterprise priorities.
- Champion the adoption of emerging technologies, AI, and data-driven capabilities to strengthen operational resilience, improve decision-making, and enhance customer and associate safety.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators to measure progress and communicate outcomes to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Develop and implement talent strategies to attract, develop, and retain a skilled workforce.
- Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, and high performance aligned with company values.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in developing and executing comprehensive business strategies aligned with organizational vision and market dynamics.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving change management initiatives.
- Ability to analyze complex data, define KPIs, and measure outcomes to ensure continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Demonstrated success in talent development, workforce planning, and fostering high-performing teams through coaching and mentorship.
- Experience overseeing new product development and retail operations to enhance business results.
- Exceptional communication skills to engage stakeholders and influence decision-making at senior leadership levels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Social Science, Communications, or related field and 7 years’ experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or related area OR 9 years’ experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or related area.
- 3 years’ supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on cross-functional teams or projects.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain, Transportation, or related field.

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $260,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and stock for certain positions.
