(USA) Production Processing Operator - Dairy Milk Truck Receiver (Friday-Sunday, 6:00am-6:30pm) - $24.50/hr.

Position Summary

Walmart is expanding with its third company-owned milk processing facility to serve over 750 stores across Texas and surrounding states. This state-of-the-art facility will produce high-quality milk products under Great Value and Member’s Mark, using milk sourced primarily from Texas dairy farmers.

What you'll do...

• Maintains dairy plant production processes by following Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Affirms accuracy of all paperwork and verifies all charts including temperature recordings
• Communicates any problems or concerns affecting production or food safety to management
• Maintains safety practices by observing confined space safety guidelines, wearing personal protective equipment, and monitoring chemical handling and fall restraints
• Maintains sanitation of equipment by performing CIP and hand cleaning
• Supports Continuous Improvement by maintaining process data and equipment performance data to improve quality and throughput
• Operates and cleans equipment to maximize throughput and minimize downtime
• Monitors fats, total solids, allergens, and cryoscopes to ensure quality and efficiencies
• Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners
• Identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations, carries out tasks, and communicates progress and information
• Determines and recommends ways to address improvement opportunities and adapts to and learns from change, difficulties, and feedback
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying these in executing business processes and practices

Minimum Qualifications

• 1 year’s experience in a distribution or production environment (for example, logistics, supply chain, dairy plant, food processing, or manufacturing)

Preferred Qualifications

• Continuous Improvement, Distribution, Food - Dairy Processing, Food - Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Manufacturing, Six Sigma
