Position Summary

Sets up workstations with required products and packaging materials. Rotates through various tasks such as operating bagger and debagger stations, setting up and operating label machines, monitoring barcoding systems, overseeing tray packaging machines, performing quality inspections, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices, ensuring compliance with food safety and quality system requirements, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, communicating with departments, managing production efficiency, identifying and addressing issues, and applying a continuous improvement mindset.

What you'll do...

  • Operate bagger and debagger stations
  • Set up and operate label machines while monitoring barcoding systems
  • Oversee tray packaging machines and complete changeovers safely and efficiently
  • Perform quality inspections and verify sample compliance with specifications
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and ensure compliance with food safety and quality system requirements
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe workspace according to company policies and procedures
  • Communicate with departments, management, and associates, and report any issues or concerns
  • Immediately report any food safety or quality issues to management
  • Apply a continuous improvement mindset to identify opportunities for process enhancement
  • Record production and/or quality data
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
  • Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback

Pay & Benefits

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.90 - $27.40. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
