Position Summary

Provides evidence-based vision care to ensure patients' health and wellbeing by recommending and prescribing medications and other treatment options such as LASIK surgery, cataract surgery, and other vision aids.

What you'll do...

  • Delivers exceptional customer service through all patient interactions.
  • Maintains and updates patient information in vision center systems in a timely, accurate, and confidential manner.
  • Affords patients with appropriate referrals to ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals and follows up with them regarding outstanding diagnostics tests or other patient information.
  • Evaluates patients' health conditions across and within the full vision center scope of service, including visual acuity, visual function, and eye health, using comprehensive eye examinations and diagnostic tests.
  • Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce, including diagnosing capability gaps, recruiting, selecting, and developing talent, supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning.
  • Works collaboratively, builds strong and trusting relationships, communicates with impact, energy, and positivity to motivate and influence, and attracts and retains the best talent.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school.
  • Licensed optometrist in good standing in the state of practice.

Additional Compensation

  • Annual salary range: $135,000.00 - $200,000.00
  • Performance-based bonuses.
  • Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location).
