Drives sales in the Vision Center through effective merchandise presentation, including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, and maintaining instock and inventory levels. Oversees budgeting, forecasting sales, and assessing economic trends and community needs.
Responsibilities
- Model, enforce, and provide guidance on proper customer service approaches to ensure customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved within company guidelines.
- Oversee and participate in community outreach programs, encouraging associates to serve as active community members.
- Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for the Vision Center by analyzing reports, monitoring asset protection and safety controls, and implementing action plans.
- Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, and promoting a belonging mindset.
- Ensure the provision of quality eyewear by consulting with and educating customers, selecting products based on needs, verifying prescriptions, and maintaining optical equipment.
- Uphold the company’s Open Door Policy by addressing associate concerns, researching issues, and suggesting resolutions.
- Coordinate and complete job-related activities by building relationships with stakeholders, supporting business plans, and measuring progress toward goals.

Requirements
- Completion of 2 or more years of college OR
- 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience OR
- 2 years of general work experience, including 1 year of optical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supervising associates.

Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $24.50 - $36.50. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage for the job location. Additional premiums may apply, ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.
