Assists management with the supervision of associates in assigned areas by delegating tasks, communicating goals, providing training, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Supports the Open Door Policy and participates in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates.
Responsibilities
- Communicates and supports membership by providing information on membership types, programs, and benefits; processing memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts; encouraging renewals; participating in sales and marketing events; and promoting Sam’s Club products and services.
- Provides and ensures member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, guiding members on self-service technology, processing transactions, and ensuring club pickup orders are fulfilled.
- Oversees assigned area of responsibility by handling claims and returns, zoning merchandise, identifying shrink and damages, maintaining cart availability, assisting with member transport, and ensuring parking lot cleanliness.
- Completes accounting records and documentation by following office procedures, preparing deposits, investigating cash discrepancies, and maintaining confidentiality of financial information.
- Develops and implements processes to meet business needs by collaborating with stakeholders, analyzing information, monitoring progress, and addressing improvement opportunities.
- Demonstrates and promotes compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and integrity by guiding associates, implementing action plans, and addressing issues using the Open Door Policy.
- Leads and participates in teams by sharing resources, coordinating work assignments, providing feedback, and modeling adaptability to change.
- Embraces diversity by fostering an inclusive workplace, supporting associate development, and recognizing contributions.
- Acts with integrity by maintaining ethical standards, holding oneself and others accountable, and supporting Walmart’s regenerative company goals.

Requirements
- 6 months of retail experience, including operating front-end equipment (e.g., cash register).
- 6 months of customer service experience.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading a front-end team.
- Supervisory experience, including hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing workloads.

Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 to $29.00. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage for the job location. Additional premiums may apply based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed, ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour.
