Assists management with the supervision of associates in assigned areas, ensuring operational excellence and member satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Supervise associates by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training on processes and procedures, and providing direction on member service approaches.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, support the Open Door Policy, and participate in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates.
- Support membership initiatives by providing information on membership types, programs, and benefits; processing memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts; encouraging renewals; and participating in sales and marketing events.
- Complete and maintain marketing recaps and documentation to meet membership goals and promote Sam’s Club products and services.
- Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, guiding on self-service technology, and ensuring transactions are completed accurately.
- Oversee assigned area by handling claims and returns, zoning merchandise, identifying shrink and damages, organizing carts/flatbeds, assisting with item transport, and maintaining parking lot cleanliness.
- Complete accounting tasks by following office procedures, providing register funds, creating financial reports, assisting with investigations, preparing deposits, and maintaining confidentiality of financial information.
- Develop and implement processes to meet business needs by collaborating with stakeholders, analyzing information, monitoring progress, and addressing improvement opportunities.
- Promote compliance with company policies, ethics, and integrity by guiding associates, implementing action plans, and addressing ethical or compliance issues.
- Lead and participate in teams by sharing resources, coordinating work assignments, providing feedback, and modeling adaptability to change.
- Foster a culture of respect by embracing diversity, building trusting relationships, communicating positively, mentoring others, and recognizing contributions.
- Act with integrity by maintaining high ethical standards, holding oneself and others accountable, and supporting Walmart’s regenerative company goals.

Requirements
- 6 months of retail experience, including operating front-end equipment (e.g., cash register).
- 6 months of customer service experience.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading a front-end team.
- Supervisory experience, including hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing workloads.

Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00 to $31.00. The actual rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage for the job location. Additional premiums may apply based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed, ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour.
