About the role
Ensures the area of responsibility is maintained in accordance with Company policies and procedures by handling returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.
Responsibilities
- Provides member service by:
- Maintaining exit areas and reviewing member receipts
- Acknowledging members and identifying their needs
- Assisting members with purchasing decisions and locating merchandise
- Maintaining self-checkout areas, resolving member issues, and promoting Sam’s Club products and services
- Providing guidance on self-service technology and processing member purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies
- Assisting members with transactions in the self-checkout area
- Assists with securing and safeguarding Sam’s Club assets and property by:
- Observing and communicating potential criminal activity according to company policies
- Maintaining paperwork logs and required documentation
- Executing emergency response procedures and ensuring compliance with security and safety practices
- Assists with training Member Frontline Service associates on:
- Company processes and procedures
- New technology and tool functionality
- New program rollouts
- Providing continuous learning and process improvement opportunities
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by:
- Implementing related action plans
- Using the Open Door Policy
- Applying these in executing business processes and practices
- Completes work assignments and priorities by:
- Using policies, data, and resources

Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances, such as based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
