Responsibilities
- Provides member service and guidance on self-service technology.
- Maintains checkout, entrance, and exit areas; zones and organizes merchandise.
- Processes purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies for different membership and payment types.
- Assists members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and transporting items.
- Reviews member receipts and verifies membership cards.
- Follows company safety standards, conducts safety sweeps, and reports unsafe situations.
- Handles merchandise according to proper procedures and identifies shrink and damages.
- Secures and safeguards Sam's Club assets by observing and reporting potential criminal activity.
- Completes required documentation, maintains logs, and executes emergency response procedures.
- Assists with training Member Frontline Services associates on processes, new technology, and program rollouts.
- Provides continuous learning and process improvement opportunities for the team.
- Complies with company policies, ethics, and integrity standards; uses the Open Door Policy.
- Collaborates with managers, co-workers, and business partners to complete work assignments and meet priorities.

Requirements
- Retail experience including operating front-end equipment (e.g., cash register).
- Experience working with mobile retail applications.
Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may apply, ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
