Responsibilities

• Provides member service and guidance on self-service technology.
• Maintains checkout, entrance, exit, and merchandise areas; zones and organizes stock.
• Processes purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policies and procedures for different membership and payment types.
• Acknowledges members, verifies membership cards, locates merchandise, and assists with transporting items.
• Reviews receipts and ensures compliance with company security and safety practices.
• Identifies shrink and damages; reports unsafe situations to facility management.
• Executes emergency response procedures and maintains required documentation.
• Assists with securing Sam’s Club assets and property by observing and communicating potential criminal activity.
• Trains Member Frontline Services associates on company processes, new technology, and program rollouts.
• Delivers continuous learning and process improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Retail experience, including operating front-end equipment such as cash registers.
• Experience working with mobile retail applications.

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed; multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
