(USA) Member Assist

About the role

You help shape our member’s entire shopping experience by giving them a positive first and last impression. In this role, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well-kept parking lot, assisting members with their purchases, and ensuring there are carts ready and available. You will also assist members in loading their vehicles and support creating a great member experience. This role requires you to be constantly on your feet and on the go, regardless of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, handling merchandise, and correcting or reporting unsafe situations.
• Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, resolving issues, and promoting company products and services.
• Organizes and maintains availability of carts and flatbeds, assists members with transporting items, and ensures parking lot cleanliness.
• Completes work assignments by collaborating with managers, coworkers, and customers, identifying priorities, and adapting to feedback.
• Maintains a positive attitude by smiling, greeting, and thanking members.
• Proactively identifies members who need help and assists them with technology, equipment, or product organization.
• Embraces and promotes respect for individual differences, cultures, ideas, and experiences to foster an inclusive workplace.
• Builds strong relationships, communicates effectively, and mentors others to strengthen the team.
• Acts with integrity, ethics, and compliance, supporting Walmart’s goal of becoming a regenerative company.

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $24.00. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may apply in specific circumstances, ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour.
