Position Summary
TourToTeach, driving financial performance, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supervising and developing associates.
What you'll do...
- Teaches and develops teams by providing training and feedback.
- Collaborates with all levels of associates to manage store operations.
- Communicates and implements business solutions.
- Manages and assists in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
- Reviews and evaluates PL Profit Loss statements.
- Ensures customer needs are met and issues are resolved.
- Develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies.
- Monitors and ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes.
- Supports customer service initiatives such as Store of the Community and Community Outreach Programs.
- Supervises and develops hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset.
- Coordinates and oversees job-related activities and assignments.
- Hires, trains, mentors, assigns duties, provides recognition, and promotes a belonging mindset for associates.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Works collaboratively, builds strong relationships, communicates with impact, and motivates and influences others.

- Requires 2 years of college, 1 year of retail experience and supervisory experience, or 2 years of general work experience and supervisory experience.
- For facilities selling firearms, requires successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
- For facilities selling only ammunition, may require a current state issued Certificate of Eligibility.
- Associates must attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments.
- Minimum qualifications include 2 years of college, 1 year of retail experience and supervisory experience, or 2 years of general work experience and supervisory experience.
- Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, general work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, and responsibility for performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.

- Annual salary range: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00.
- Additional compensation for certain positions may include regional pay zone (RPZ) (based on location) and complex structure (based on external factors that create challenges).
- Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years’ of college; OR
- 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR
- 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
- General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
