Position Summary
Operates forklifts and completes work assignments following company policies and procedures.
What you'll do...
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
- Operates forklifts safely, picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets.
- Completes work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners.
- Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, guiding, supporting, and assisting with purchases and issues.
- Maintains safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations.
- Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation by stocking, rotating, removing damaged or outdated goods, setting up displays, and ensuring proper zoning.
- Handles club pick-up orders by assisting with picking, staging, and auditing orders.
- Manages inventory by tracking goods, maintaining stock levels, controlling shrinkage, and reporting poor practices.
- Uses inventory tools and equipment safely and correctly.
- Proactively identifies and engages customers needing help, assists with technology services, and models technology services.
- Identifies and addresses shrink opportunities and problems, taking steps to fix them.
- Maintains and organizes merchandise and supplies, ensuring proper stocking and removal of damaged or out-of-date goods.
- Ensures merchandise is displayed prominently and performs occasional audits for accuracy.
- Operates and maintains forklifts safely and correctly.
- Reports poor or unsafe conditions or practices in assigned areas.
- Tells management when forklifts are not in proper working order.

Minimum Qualifications
- 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
- Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- Customer Service Experience.
- Retail Experience.
- Supervising a team.
