(USA) Freight Flow Associate
Position Summary
Operates forklifts and completes work assignments by following company policies and procedures.
Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, and assisting with purchases and issues.
Maintains safety and merchandising presentation by conducting safety sweeps, managing inventory, and ensuring proper stocking and display of merchandise.
Handles and organizes merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers, ensuring efficient inventory flow.
Ensures club pick-up orders are filled by assisting with picking and staging merchandise, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
Operates and maintains forklifts safely, reports any issues, and follows company steel standard guidelines.
Uses inventory tools and equipment correctly, tracks goods, maintains inventory levels, and reports poor practices and low stock levels.
Proactively identifies and assists customers with technology services, models technology services, and identifies and addresses shrink opportunities and problems.
Respects individuals by embracing differences, fostering a culture of belonging, and supporting the development of others.
Acts with integrity by maintaining high standards of ethics and compliance, demonstrating courage and resilience, and supporting the company's goal of becoming a regenerative company.

Completes Forklift Certification within 90 days of starting the position.

- Collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners.
- Identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations, and carries out tasks.
- Communicates progress and information, determines and recommends ways to address improvement opportunities, and adapts to changes.
- Ensures safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, and handling and disposing of hazardous materials.
- Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation by properly zoning the area, stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or outdated goods, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, and maintaining modular integrity.
- Processes defective merchandise according to company and regulatory policies and procedures for sanitation and food safety.
- Monitors the area for shrink security risks and safety issues, and reports them to management.
- Assists with picking club pick-up orders throughout the day, ensuring products are selected and staged according to company policy and procedures, and verifying that Merchandising Associates pick orders within an acceptable timeframe and stage them properly.
- Performs occasional audits for accuracy.
- Handles moves and displays goods in a safe and correct manner, tracking goods, maintaining inventory levels, and controlling shrinkage in a timely manner.
- Reports poor inventory practices and low inventory levels in assigned areas.
- Uses inventory tools and equipment in a safe and correct manner.
- Forklift Operates and maintains forklifts in a safe and correct manner.
- Reports poor or unsafe conditions or practices in assigned areas.
- Tells Management when forklifts are not in proper working order.
- Proactively identifies customers who need help, actively engages them, and assists them with technology services and items.
- Models and helps others with technology services.
- Identifies shrink opportunities and problems with products, services, and work areas, and takes steps to fix the problems.
- Properly maintains equipment and ensures products are organized and stocked in the correct way, and promptly fixes any problems.

Minimum Qualifications
- 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
- Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- Customer Service Experience.
- Retail Experience.
- Supervising a team.
