Position Summary

Operates forklifts and completes work assignments by following company policies and procedures.

What you'll do...

  • Operates forklifts safely and complies with company standards.
  • Picks up, moves, and positions merchandise and supplies.
  • Organizes merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
  • Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, and assisting with purchases.
  • Maintains safety by conducting safety sweeps and following procedures for handling hazardous materials.
  • Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise.
  • Handles inventory by tracking goods, maintaining instock levels, and controlling shrinkage.
  • Operates and maintains forklifts in a safe manner and reports poor or unsafe conditions.
  • Proactively identifies and assists customers with technology services.
  • Maintains equipment and ensures products are organized and stocked correctly.
  • Performs occasional audits for accuracy and reports poor inventory practices.
  • Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources.
  • Collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners.
  • Identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations, and adapts to changes and feedback.
  • Ensures club pick-up orders are filled by assisting with picking and staging merchandise.
  • Processes defective merchandise and follows company and regulatory policies.
  • Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation in accordance with company policies.
  • Works as a team, builds strong relationships, and communicates positively to motivate and influence others.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
  • Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Customer Service Experience.
  • Retail Experience.
  • Supervising a team.
