(USA) Freight Flow Associate

Position Summary

Operates forklifts and completes work assignments following company policies and procedures.

What you'll do...

• Operates forklifts safely and complies with company standards.
• Pick up, move, place, and position merchandise and supplies.
• Organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, and assisting with purchases and issues.
• Maintain safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps and following procedures for handling hazardous materials.
• Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation according to company policies.
• Handle moves and displays goods safely and maintain inventory levels.
• Proactively identify and assist customers with technology services.
• Identify and resolve shrink opportunities and problems.
• Operate and maintain forklifts safely and report poor or unsafe conditions.
• Properly maintain equipment and ensure products are organized and stocked correctly.
• Perform occasional audits for accuracy and process defective merchandise.
• Use inventory tools and equipment safely and control shrinkage.
• Report poor inventory practices and low inventory levels.
• Operate and maintain forklifts in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Proactively engage customers needing help and assist them with technology services.
• Act with integrity by maintaining high standards of ethics and compliance, modeling the Walmart values, and supporting the company's goal of becoming a regenerative company.

Minimum Qualifications

• 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Customer Service Experience.
• Retail Experience.
• Supervising a team.

Pay Range

The hourly wage range for this position is $20.50 to $28.50*.

The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.

Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.

Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
