Position Summary
Operates forklifts and completes work assignments following company policies and procedures.
What you'll do...
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
- Operates forklifts safely, picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets.
- Completes work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners.
- Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, guiding, supporting, assisting with purchases, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
- Maintains safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and correcting and reporting unsafe situations.
- Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation by properly zonining the area, stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or outdated goods, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, ensuring prominent display of promotional and seasonal merchandise, processing defective merchandise, and monitoring shrink security risks.
- Handles moves and displays goods in a safe and correct manner, tracking goods, maintaining inventory levels, controlling shrinkage, and reporting poor inventory practices and low inventory levels.
- Operates and maintains forklifts in a safe and correct manner, reporting poor or unsafe conditions or practices.
- Proactively identifies customers needing help, actively engages them, assists with technology services and items, and models and helps others with technology services.
- Identifies shrink opportunities and problems with products, services, and work areas and takes steps to fix them.
- Respects individuals by embracing differences, creating a supportive workplace culture, attracting top talent, and acting with integrity.
- Serves customers and members by delivering results, making decisions based on reliable information, balancing short and long-term priorities, and considering how work impacts the team's ability to deliver on the company's purpose.

Minimum Qualifications
- 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
- Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- Customer Service Experience.
- Retail Experience.
- Supervising a team.
Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00* The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
