(USA) Freight Flow Associate

About the role

You will operate a forklift to safely pick up, move, place, and position merchandise pallets while complying with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. The role involves receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise and supplies, managing inventory flow, and maintaining the sales floor and merchandising presentation according to company guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and utilize pallet jacks following company standards and safety guidelines.
• Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers, coworkers, and customers, identifying priorities, and adapting to feedback and change.
• Receive, stock, and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers, managing inventory flow and correcting shelf capacities.
• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
• Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following procedures for hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation by zoning, stocking, rotating merchandise, setting up displays, and processing defective goods.
• Ensure club pick-up orders are filled accurately and staged according to company policy.
• Handle inventory by tracking goods, maintaining in-stock levels, controlling shrinkage, and reporting poor inventory practices.
• Proactively assist customers with technology services and items, identifying shrink opportunities and addressing issues.

Requirements

• 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
• Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Experience supervising a team.

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances (e.g., based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed). Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
