(USA) Freight Flow Associate

Position Summary

Operates forklifts and completes work assignments following company policies and procedures.

What you'll do...

• Operates forklifts safely and follows company standards and guidelines.
• Completes work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners.
• Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, and assisting with purchases and issues.
• Maintains safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps and following procedures for handling hazardous materials.
• Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise and ensuring proper display of promotional and seasonal merchandise.
• Handles moves and displays goods safely and correctly, tracking goods and controlling shrinkage.
• Operates and maintains forklifts safely and reports poor or unsafe conditions.
• Proactively identifies and assists customers with technology services, models technology services, and identifies shrink opportunities.
• Maintains and organizes merchandise and supplies, ensuring proper inventory flow and following company policy and procedures.
• Ensures club pick-up orders are filled by assisting with picking and staging merchandise.
• Manages inventory levels, reports poor inventory practices, and performs occasional audits for accuracy.
• Uses inventory tools and equipment in a safe and correct manner.
• Forklift Operations: Operates and maintains forklifts in a safe and correct manner, reports poor or unsafe conditions, and fixes problems.
• Technology: Proactively identifies customers needing help, engages them, and assists with technology services; models and helps others with technology services; identifies shrink opportunities and takes steps to fix problems; properly maintains equipment and ensures products are organized and stocked in the correct way; promptly fixes any problems.

Minimum Qualifications

• 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer Service Experience.
• Retail Experience.
• Supervising a team.
